Problem:
My son (25yrs) and his fiancé (19yrs) moved in with me a little over 3 months ago. My son was in an unhappy marriage of 1 year and had a child when he met another woman while at military technical school for the AF. They both have been discharged from the military for being written up too many times. My son claimed he was happy with the AF until he met her then he claimed he was not. It was a temp arrangement & I made them sign an covenant that they could not sleep together. They have broke almost every rule. They have argued some & she is very controlling! Once in awhile they drink WAY too much. They are looking for a place to live but taking a long time. I am concerned about her getting pregnant and concerned about my son's finances. I am concerned how this effects MY finances also as I am widowed and can no longer help him nor want to. He needs to be a man. My daughter is a Christian and she lives here also and we get along great but are both struggling with this. I have a few people praying. We have prayed over every room in the house and declared it Holy ground. Trying to hate the sin but LOVE the sinner. I have had many talks with them. They refuse to go to church. They don't think they have a problem. When we (my daughter or I) try to talk to my son (independently) them he accuses us as judging him. We have repented of this because we were a little but mostly he has always behaved like this in his rebellion all his life. He never admits wrong or most of his life does not apologize. I stumbled onto your site. :)
Prayer Request:
My son and his fiancé will find true salvation from Jesus Christ!!! Please pray they desire to live for the Lord and make good decisions. They both have been discharged from the military. Pray against alcohol abuse and other sins of the flesh. Pray they will be redeemed and MOVE as they wake me up at night sometimes. Even if they break up my son if he decided to stay with me need divine intervention and redemption.
